MuSiC4Diabetes Research Presented at Saarland University Workshop

Professor Lalo Magni from our Consortium Partner, the University of Pavia, participated in the workshop “Dynamics and Control in the Age of Data” organised by the GAMM Activity Group Dynamics and Control at Saarland University on 13th November in Saarbrücken.

During the event, Professor Magni presented recent results from the joint research of University of Pavia and University of Padova in MuSiC4Diabetes, showcasing innovative approaches to data-driven control strategies for personalised diabetes management. His talk on ‘Recurrent Neural Network based MPC with stability and performance guarantees’ highlighted how integrating system-theoretic models with machine-learning techniques can enable more adaptive and precise control algorithms for medical applications.

The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange and strengthened collaborations between academia and industry. Professor Magni’s contribution underlined the project’s commitment to advancing research at the intersection of control theory, data science, and biomedical innovation.
